Happy New Year!

By | December 31, 2015

Dear friends,

We are glad 2015 is over for us. It has become a year we will never forget. Bram’s disease completly disrupted our normal life. Our lives will never be the same. Despite all the horror with Bram, we had some happy memories in 2015 as well. Taking Bram home after 225 nights, our zoo visit while Bram was still in hospital, Sinterklaas and Christmas but above all the fact that Bram’s latest MRI scan showed no cancer. He is in remission!

We would like to thank everyone who has helped us out this year. All the prayers, candles lit, gifts, donations, cards, hugs etc… It made a huge difference on our wellbeing. I would never have thought something like this would happen to us. It has brought Laura and myself even closer. We are enormously proud of our kids. They are very special. We have met our superhero this year. Bram is a remarkable boy who constantly defies the odds. He makes us believe he will ultimately win his fight agains his cancer and live a normal life. He has a long road ahead of him with many challenges. He is working hard every day to overcome his disabilities.

We wish you all a happy and healthy 2016!

Love,
Jeroen, Laura, Max and Bram
